Today, those who had congressional meetings carried those on while every else went on a tour of the US Capitol Building! I met with Courtney Titus, a representative of Senator Lindsey Graham. I was nervous because I thought I would be late or get lost, or that I wouldn’t have much to say and make a fool of myself. However, she was a very down-to-earth and sincere person to talk to! The meeting went great!
After we got back from Capitol Hill they gave us time to prepare, which everyone looked great! I can’t believe this week has already come to an end. With so many events and activities packed into our days it feels like we’ve been here for much longer than that, but it’s really hitting me now that I’ll be home by this time tomorrow.
I’ve missed home, but I think I could stand a few more days in DC! 
I’ll miss the people I’ve befriended and networked with, the staff and team members were great, and the information I’ve acquired here will definitely be beneficial to my career as an investigative reporter
